PSFA welcomes new interns from Belgium
Posted on February 27th, 2020 by Charles Grey
We are delighted to welcome on board three final year nutrition and dietetics students from VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Bruges, Belgium. These students will be spending the next 10-14 weeks at the Peninsula School Feeding Association as part of their paramedical internship.
Jolien Pillu, Bert Verschelde and Arnaud Octaef will be assisting our operations team with the planning and development of special menus, as well as conducting research studies on the impact of our menu provided for the children on our feeding programme – at our schools and early childhood development centres.
Jolien, Bert and Arnaud will also be spending invaluable time with our fieldworkers assisting them with collecting anthropometric data – this data will assist the students and PSFA with identifying any malnutrition cases within our feeding programme.
We wish them a happy learning experience at PSFA.
