Miltons Matsemela, a local Conveyancing firm, reaches R4 Million milestone in community outreach program.

In a world where we face numerous challenges, some of which are life-threatening: hunger, war, disease, and abandonment, to name a few, we as individuals and companies should try and make a difference in our own way…

That is why Miltons Matsemela (MM) teamed up with the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) 10 years ago. We aim to make a difference by supporting the feeding of hungry school children, one transfer instruction at a time.

PSFA identifies schools where underprivileged children are in desperate need of food. They then equip these schools with kitchens, train personnel and supply food regularly.

Through their efforts, two nutritional meals are being served to these children each day, helping them concentrate in the classroom. As per the PSFA’s slogan: “You cannot teach a hungry child”.

Needless to say, financial support is needed to fulfill this gigantic task.

PSFA’s quest touched our hearts deeply and so we decided to collaborate with them to ensure more feeding of hungry children. We also wanted to involve our communities.

Since teaming up with the PSFA, it has been our undertaking to sponsor the feeding of a hungry school child for 6 months each time we receive a conveyancing instruction from an Estate Agent/Property Practitioner.

This way, our supporting Property Practitioners know that their transfer instructions secure the feeding of hungry school children and they too are contributing to this worthy cause.

With great expectations and excitement, we made our first contribution in December 2013. Since then, we have managed to donate more than R4 million to PSFA.

We could not have done this without the support of our Estate Agent community, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

Together, we have made a difference in the lives of many children.

We are grateful to PSFA, they do exceptional work and may we all continue to address hunger in our schools.
