Greenfield Girls’ Primary: 26 years of compassion, commitment, and life-changing support for hungry learners
Posted on December 2nd, 2025 by Charles Grey
On behalf of the learners in our School Nutrition Support Programme, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the learners of Greenfield Girls’ Primary for once again taking part in a Spell-a-Thon to raise funds for PSFA.
This year, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the learners, together with the unwavering support of their parents, families, and friends, the Spell-a-Thon raised an outstanding R23,760.00. These vital funds will enable PSFA to provide daily breakfasts and lunches to 25 vulnerable learners for an entire year, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Greenfield Girls’ Primary has been a steadfast supporter of PSFA since September 1999, donating an incredible R382,008.00 over 26 years. Their unwavering commitment to the well-being of hungry children continues to make a profound impact, and we remain sincerely grateful to this exceptional school community for walking this journey with us year after year.

Together, we are nourishing young lives and building brighter futures—one meal at a time.
